Run the team’s weekly debriefing
Close the week with the team: what was achieved of what was agreed, what was learned and what is decided, and get it into the plan and the minutes.

What hurts today.
The week closes without looking back, and the same problems come back.
What was learned stays in the room, and nobody finds it later.
The decisions have no owner, and nobody carries them.
At the end of the week, the team goes back over what it agreed in the briefing: which actions were done, which were not and why, what it learned and what it decides for the next week. Whoever facilitates leads the conversation, writes down the learnings and the decisions with their owner, carries the changes into the plan and writes the minutes. Skip it and the team repeats the same mistakes, and the next briefing starts from scratch.

Each step, today and with Elmira.
Obeyaka opens the debriefing on time with what the briefing agreed, guides it in the app, applies the changes to the plan and keeps the minutes. On WhatsApp, Elmira tells whoever was not there what was decided.

The conversation
- Camila, Maintenance technician
Elmira, I could not make it to Maintenance’s debriefing. What was decided?
It closed yesterday. They decided to lubricate the sealers every 15 days, and Jorge Muñoz carries it. They learned the new filter lasts twice as long. There are 2 new actions, and one is yours: check compressor 2 by October 16.
Does this happen to your team?
Book a demo and we will show you Elmira doing this task.
More cases of routines and daily management
- Run the start-of-shift daily huddleThe board shows data from days ago, and nobody trusts it.
- Run the team’s weekly briefingThe meeting goes on looking for data instead of deciding.
- Escalate a problem to the level that can solve itIt is escalated out loud, and the problem gets lost on the way.
